WHAT IS EYEBROWS MICROBLADING MAKEUP?

 
Microblading is done in the skin's upper layer unlike tattoos, using a hand held microblading tool, precise hair-like strokes are drawn that gracefully enhances you eyebrows, for a fuller look. It is NOT permanent, therefore it is referred as semi-permanent makeup and it lasts 6 - 12 months.
 

WHAT IS MICROSHADING SEMI PERMANENT MAKEUP?

Microshading uses a rotary machine pen to carefully apply power pigments under the eyebrow. The pigment  color is lighter at the start of the brows and gradually darker on the tail giving you a beautiful  shadowing, or Ombré soft powdery effect. This semi- permanent makeup technique is commonly used if you have oily skin.

OMBRÉ POWDER BROWS

Microshading services Bay AreaSimilar to brow powder makeup, Microshading or OMBRÉ, French for shadowing, this technique differs from microblading, and uses a rotary machine pen to naturally apply the power pigments.

The pigment is lighter at the start of the brows and gradiently darker on the tail giving you a beautiful Ombré soft powdery effect. This semi- permanent makeup technique is perfect for those with oily skin type.

MICROBLADING PLUS SHADING (Combré)

Microblading and microshadingYes you can have it all! A semi-permanent makeup using Microblading plus Ombre Brow shading, for a ready to go, gorgeous long-lasting beautiful looking makeup.

The end result is your perfect eyebrows and an amazing shadow that complements it beautifully, it is a semi-permanent makeup and lasts longer than just plain microblading.

This technique is also known as Microshading, creating a combination of soft feathery strokes and the shading effect for eyebrows fullness and higher makeup definition

Our Powder filled eyebrows are recommended if you have a fair amount of hair in the brows, or if you want to fill irregular hair growth or a scar.

Powder filling is less invasive than the microblading method and may be an ideal procedure for those who just don't the time for a daily makeup routine.

HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?

You will need occasional touch-ups to maintain your brows, since microblading is a semi-permanent form of makeup. Over time, your semi-permanent makeup pigments will eventually fade away leaving your natural skin and eyebrows.

Microshading pigments are semi-permanent since they are implanted into the upper skin layer, they will naturally fade over time. The Microshading semi-permanent makeup will last anywhere between 1 - 2 years depending on skin type, lifestyle, age and how often you get touch-ups.

Depending on your lifestyle, you may need routine touch ups, avoid tanning, or any product that are harsh on the skin, such AHA or Glycol Acid, and hydrate your skin to extend the life of your semi-permanent makeup.

Touch-up prices are only for clients that were previously seen by Deia Microblading Spa Bay Area.

A touch-up appointment might be needed to improve results and to adjust color where your skin did not take the pigment properly.

We will perfect the shape, color and make any needed minor adjustments.

Eyebrows  Pre-Care Instructions

Avoid brow waxing, tinting, microdermabrasion or chemical peels at least one week prior to the procedure appointment.

✖ DO NOT consume alcohol or caffeine 48 hours prior to the procedure session.
✖ DO NOT take Aspirin, Niacin, Advil, Ibuprofen, Omega-3, Fish Oil, Vitamin E or any blood thinners 48-71 hours prior to the procedure. NOTE:Tylenol is ok!
✖ DO NOT have Botox, filler, chemical peels, laser treatment on the brow area 4 weeks prior to the procedure appointment.
✖ DO NOT work out within 24 hours before the procedure appointment.
✖ DO NOT expose your face to any type of tanning at all, 14 days before the procedure
✖ Discontinue Retin-A, AHA (alpha hydroxy Acid), Glycolic and hair growth serum for 2 weeks before AND After your procedure appointment.
✖ No Accutane for 1 year before the procedure
✖ Please wear your normal makeup on the day of the procedure, so we can to see the color and shape you are comfortable with.
✖ On the day of the procedure:
NO GUM
Please avoid unnecessary conversation with the artist
NO PHONE CHECKING ALLOWED DURING THE PROCEDURE
Please Note: You may be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

  • We do require a 30% NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSIT when you book your Permanent Makeup, Microblading, Micro-Pigmentation and Eyelash Extension to secure and confirm your space. (This amount wil be deducted from your final bill!)
  • All our procedures are carefully done and require proper time to finish, arriving on time is mandatory.  CANCELING OR RESCHEDULE the appointment within 3 days will require a NEW 30% of deposit.
  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your microblading appointment, Deia Microblading SPA Bay Area reserves the right to reschedule this to a future date at our discretion and your 30% deposit will not be refunded. A NEW 30% deposit will be requested to hold the NEW appointment.
