Q. ARE YOU CERTIFIED? 

A. Yes, I am a Certified Permanent Makeup Artist, I am fully certified and continue to improve my skills and certifications.

Q. WHAT IS MICROBLADING?

A. Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo procedure done with a hand held tool that applies pigment in the upper layer of dermis, mimicking hair like strokes, it delivers amazing natural results. Clients who want a hairlike natural effect usually opt for this procedure. Good Candidates for Microblading are people with dry skin types. People with sensitive skin, large pores and heavily oily skin should avoid this service.

Q. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

A. Deias's initial appointment takes average 1 hour 30 mins up to 3 hour, depending on the procedure you want. The follow up touch up and additional touch ups take 1 hour to 2 hours, depending on the procedure you want.

 

Q. WHAT ABOUT MICROBLADING TOUCH UPS?

A. Deia's recommends a touch up once a year to keep your eyebrows looking fresh and to prevent excess fading. Depending on your lifestyle, you may need more, hydrating, applying SPF, avoiding excessive sunlight and harsh products will definitively make them last longer.

Q. DOES MICROBLADING HURT?

A. Modern microblading procedures uses medical anesthetics in order to numb the area and make your session comfortable as possible. A mix of Lidocaine is locally applied toprepare the area, then after the strokes have been tattooed into the skin, another numbing application that works within the blood stream, most clients rated almost pain free experience.

 

DOES MICROBLADING WORK ON OVER SCARS

A. YES! Microblading will render amazing results over scars, although follow ups might be more frequent to keep original maakeup. No problems with sparse eyebrows, Deia's will use different techniques to complete cover the scared area, for a very natural result.

Q. WHO IS INELIGIBLE FOR MICROBLADING?

A. Deia Microblading SPA Bay Area will not offer microblading makeup if you are under 18, pregnant or nursing, have diabetes, eczema around treatment area, sunburns, skin cancer, HIV/Hepatitis, auto-immune disorders, are currently on acutane, retin-a, steroids or any type of blood thinners or have a keloid disorder

Q. WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE ITt?

A. Semi permanent makeup will fade over time, so you can always try a different design. We will only start the procedure when you sign your “Proceed Form.” If you are unhappy with your original decision, the touch up may be cancelled and the pigmented area will naturally fade away over time. If you are not 100% sure you would benefit from this procedure, please try a more conservative design option.
